Refund Policy
South Pacific Projects Pty Ltd
1. General Policy
Due to the nature of construction and building services, refunds are not generally provided once work has commenced or materials have been ordered.
All services are delivered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded.
2. Deposits

Deposits are required to secure scheduling, resources, and materials.

Deposits are:

Non-refundable once:

Work has commenced; or
-
Materials have been ordered; or

Labour has been allocated

If the Client cancels before work begins, a partial refund may be provided, less:

Administrative costs
-
Time spent on planning, quoting, or scheduling

3. Progress Payments

Payments made for completed stages of work are non-refundable.

Each payment reflects:

Work already performed
-
Materials supplied
-
4. Cancellations
If the Client cancels a project:

The Client must pay for:
-
All work completed to date
-
Materials ordered or delivered
-
Any non-recoverable costs
-
No refunds will be issued for:

Completed work
-
Custom materials or special orders
5. Variations & Changes

Changes requested by the Client after approval may:

Incur additional costs
-
Not be eligible for refunds

6. Defects & Remedies (ACL Compliance)
If work is found to be defective:

The Builder will:

Assess the issue
-
Rectify within a reasonable timeframe
-
Refunds will only be considered where:
-
A major failure occurs under Australian Consumer Law

And the issue cannot be reasonably rectified
7. Delays
Refunds are not provided for delays caused by:

Weather
-
Supply issues
-
Council or approval delays
-
Unforeseen site conditions
8. Materials

Materials purchased or ordered are non-refundable once:

Ordered
-
Delivered
-
Customised
-
9. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises:

Both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith

Mediation may be used if required
